What is Shamanic Energy Medicine?

If you’ve felt the call to begin your journey into the world of Shamanic Energy Medicine and start walking the Path of the Wise Woman, then this introductory course is for you.
During these 5 modules Cissi will guide you through the four directions of the Healing Wheel - South, West, North and East - introducing you to the medicine found in each direction, how they correlate with the different phases of the moon, and the changes of the seasons (such as the Celtic Wheel of the Year).
This online course is based on Cissi’s experience of awakening her own ancestral wisdom - her inner Wise Woman - through doing shamanic journeys into the different domains found in the World of Spirit, such as the Lower World, Middle World and Upper World. In this course, she’ll guide you into these different domains too, so you can begin to awaken the magic, wisdom and feminine power found in your own ancestral lineage.

Module one: South direction (may 23)
module 1: Releasing & letting go of the past
You start your journey with getting to know your Tree of Life, where the roots connect you with the Lower World, your past and your ancestors; the branches with the Upper World, your future and who you are becoming; and the trunk with the Middle World and your life here now.
You’ll discover how your Tree of Life is linked with your body and your chakras. You’ll also learn how you can scan your tree to notice if you need to heal your roots, or if you have any fear-based thoughts that need to be released so you can expand into your highest potential.
At the end of the live webinar Cissi will guide you on a shamanic journey where you shed and release that which you no longer need, so you can create space for that which is now meant to come into your life. You’ll also heal and cleanse your chakras, filling your body with more vitality, power and healing medicine.
This module focuses on the element of earth, so your body, your roots, and your foundation in life.
Module two: west direction (May 30)
module 2: transformation & Healing with the dark mother
Meet the Dark Mothers, who are all lunar goddesses, such as the Black Madonna, Hecate, Cerridwen and Hel, and discover the healing medicine they want to share with you.
Be introduced to the sacred teachings of Inanna, and her descent through the 7 gates (7 chakras) into the Underworld, and how this is relevant for us, as we make our own journey of descent.
Cissi will guide you on a shamanic journey through the 7 gates into the womb of the Dark Mother in the underworld, where you’ll begin a deep transformation and healing process. You’ll also connect with the Ancient Mother of your ancestral lineage, the Ancient Wise One, who helps you to awaken the magic and feminine wisdom found in your bloodline.
This module focuses on the element of water, where you’ll journey into the depth of your emotions, transforming old wounds into wisdom, awakening the magic in your blood.
Module three: north direction (june 6)
Module 3: new visions & dreams from the light Mother
Meet the Light Mothers, who are all solar goddesses, such as Freya and Brigid, and discover the healing medicine they want to share with you.
Get to know some of the Spirit Weavers of the Cosmos, so they can help you become more conscious of how you can weave your dreams into being.
Cissi will guide you on a shamanic journey, where you first prepare your energy body to be able to receive the new light-codes of the highest dreams and visions you are meant to birth into being. You’ll then journey to the Cosmic Womb of the Heavens where you’ll receive new magic and inspiration from the Sun Goddess and the Moon Goddess.
You’ll also meet the three Norns, who will help you connect with the magic found in your ancestral lineage, witness the highest potential for your future, and embody the power found in the now.
This module focuses on the element of air -breathing in the light-filled visions of something new (inspiration).
Module four: East direction (june 13)
Module 4: rebirth & sharing your gifts with your world
Discover why it’s just as important to ascend into the light, as it is to descend into the womb of the darkness.
Learn how the wisdom teachings of Freya, Isis and Inanna show us the importance of moving through the cosmic death/rebirth portal, so we can become who we are meant to be.
Cissi will guide you on a VERY shamanic journey, where you’ll first descend through the 7 gates into a rebirth chamber, releasing old fears and limitations. You’ll then move through an initiation where you are reborn into the truth of who you are. And finally, you’ll ascend through the 7 gates embracing the new expressions of life and wisdom found at each gate, so you can embody the power and magic that is yours.
This module focuses on the element of fire, so the fire of new life, passion and life force - a fire that helps you move through your own rebirth.
Module five: Centre of the wheel (june 27)
Module 5: weaving a new story into being for the future
You now move into the centre of the wheel, where you begin to embody both the sacred darkness and the magical light. It’s when we marry the two that we begin to fill our lives with magic!
Learn how Mary Magdalene is connected with the Tree of Life, and how she shows you the importance of trusting your intuition, no matter what the outside world tells you.
Let the Norse Goddess Saga (her name means the one who sees, and it also means ‘story’) show you how you can choose to weave a new story for your life - a story filled with your highest visions and dreams and potential. A story where you choose what you want to focus your time and energy on.
Cissi will guide you on a shamanic journey with Mary Magdalene and Saga, where you now begin to weave your medicine, light, wisdom and magic into your past, into your present and into your future.

Your shamanic guide
Cissi Williams is an Osteopath, Naturopath, NLP Trainer, and Teacher of Energy Medicine, Mysticism, Shamanic Healing & Seidr. She’s initiated as a Priestess of Freyja, Tradition Keeper of the Völva (Norse shamanism and magic).
She started her healing journey in 1992, when she had her first Dark Night of the Soul experience. This brought her into an immense darkness, where she finally fell on her knees and prayed. Her prayer was answered in the form of three books: The Power Is Within You by Louise Hay, Love Is the Answer by Gerald Jampolsky, and Creative Visualization by Shakti Gawain. As she read these books, she could feel the darkness lift, and through doing the exercises outlined in the books, she healed her depression in six weeks. She then knew we have the power to heal within us. This led her to want to learn more about health and healing, so she earned a 4-year university degree in London — and qualified in 1997 with First Class Honors in Osteopathic Medicine, and with a Diploma in Naturopathy.
In 2002 she started her training in NLP and hypnosis, which later led her into the world of shamanism. She’s done shamanic training from various wisdom traditions, including Incan, Norse, and Celtic.
Cissi has done more than 25,000 healing sessions, and she’s guided many more to tune in to their inner wisdom and connect with Spirit’s guidance through her teachings, and Awaken Your Inner Wisdom, a podcast with over 350,000 unique downloads. Her passion is to help you tune in to your inner wisdom, as she knows there is an incredible power embedded in your bones — the power of the Wise Woman — who is longing to be awakened and rise once more, so she can share her medicine with the world.
Her new book is being published in 2025 with Findhorn Press/Inner Tradition.

There are 5 live video modules (of around 90 minutes each, although some may be slightly longer) on the following dates: 23rd of May, 30th of May, 6th of June, 13th of June, and 27th of June.
Each webinar takes place at 6pm UK time. You’ll be sent the email link for the live webinar the day before (and you can also find it in your course portal).
